Blog Number Last

As you can tell by my title, this is probably going to be my last blog. I will talk about synergy. It has been awesome. Getting to know everyone so well, being comfortable working with them, I think its a great program. Yeah. The teachers are great too. I hope I get some of them in the future. Also the students. I hope I have them in lots of classes next year.

Badminton

I think next year I might try out for the badminton team. I am probably gonna take some lessons over the summer, so I might make it. I hope.

French Open

The french open is on right now. Federer is in, and so is Nadal, and Murray. Im surprised Sharapova is seeded 7th. She used to be 1st.

Wow

Wow. I havent posted in so long. I did pretty good in my baseball tourney, and yeah. Canucks game 5 today. We are 3-1, we can clinch today. Boston can clinch tommorow.

Baseball

I did good in my baseball game today, I was 3-3 with a single, a triple, and an in the park homerun. I also pitched 1.2 innings with 4 strikeouts, and only one single let up. Pretty good overall.

Canucks

3rd game of the 2nd round today. Its in OT right now. Pretty intense. I hope Henrick can finally score this game. Its been for a while. Luckily, Daniel got an assist earlier this game, so at least they are doing SOMETHING. Unlike the last couple games. Aarg. Also, my election prediction was correct. Except i predicted a conservative minority. I think that surprised everyone. I dunno. Its interesting. Im way too interested in politics for a 14 year old.

Bin Laden

Wow. Hes finally dead. In case u havent been listen to radio, watching tv, or on comp,(Which u have, duh. ur on the internet) Osama bin Laden is dead. He was killed today in a precision strike by the US today, in his compound 100 miles north of Islamabad.

Golf

I need to start golfing again. I dont golf that much, but its enough that once im retired, I will have a huge head start over all my retired buddies. That will be fun. Yep. I have queen E right beside my house, so its great for that.

Nucks

Wow. Just wow. That was an interesting game. 7-2 'Hawks. Terribleosity. I really dont have much to say. Just that we will win next game. Like 100%. I was looking forward to sweeping Sale's class tmrw though.

Baseball

How many times have I used that as a title? My first baseball game of the season was today. I did ok, I pitched 3 innings without letting in any runs. I didnt get any hits though. I walked once and got hit by a pitch. My team won, 12-6, which is even better considering we have only had like 3 practices, and I've only had 1. I think we did good. Yeah.

Wow. Lots of break blogs.

As you can tell, I have done many, many blogs over the break. Including this one, a total of 1! Yay! So... I will start at the beginning of the break. On the first saturday, I left for california. It was bad weather, flood warnings, and wind warnings. Then it warmed up, which was nice. Yeah. Not much interesting. I competed in long jump in a meet down there. I did bad. Sadly. Then i came home and have been watching baseball ever since. literally. I have watched almost every game so far this season. I am a sad person.

Track

Yes, I'm unoriginal. I am going to talk about track today. Usain Bolt is a beast. He has the World records in 100m, 150m, and 200m. In 100m and 200m, he also has the 2nd best time. He also has the World record for the fastest time over 100m (which he got in the last 100m of the 150m race), which was 8.7 seconds, which averages out to 41.4km/h, which is ridiculously fast to run. Apperently he might try to do the 400m and the Long Jump, which will be interesting.

Santa Barbara

I leave for Santa Barbara in only 6 days. I cant wait. We go on the 19th, then we are there until the 27th. On the 26th, we are gonna participate in the Easter Relays, which is a yearly track competition they do down there. I was just looking at the qualification marks, and they are really hard. For discus, its like 24 meters, and for high jump its like 157cm. My personal best that I know of is around 135cm (though that was really easy). And yeah. Thats pretty much it. Ok. Byes now.

Reach

As im sure almost all readers know by now, we got 3rd in reach for the top. I'll bring the medal on monday to prove im not lying. We ranked 4th after the 5 game round robin, then we played McRoberts in the round of 16 and won by quite a bit, then we played Southridge in the quarters, who we beat, then we played Saints in the semis, and we were leading by one going into the last round, then we fell apart, so we lost by 10. Whatever. Then we played Vancouver College in the consolation round, and won by a bit. I think we could have been 2nd, if we had been in the other round, because then we would have played burnaby north, or Vancouver College in the semis, and prob would have been able to beat them. Aarg. I think we can improve our result next year. We will have a really strong grade 10 core, and according to saints, all their good players are in grade 10 this year, and they have like no younger kids, so hopefully we will be able to at least make the finals next year. There was a ridiculous amount of repeats though. There was one 8 question assigned section which was exactly repeated between the first and third round. The awesome thing was that we were playing Crofton House, and they are terrible, so we got like 7 out of the 8. I have been ranting for a while now, so i gtg. Cya.

Baseball Assessments

Baseball assessments were yesterday. I didnt do that well, but I dont really care, actually, the worse I do, the better, because its an assessment, so its not like you are trying to make teams, but its so that the coaches can see how good you are, so that they can evenly spread the teams. So if you are evaluated as being bad, you will end up on a better team, because you will "drag them down". One time was hilarious though, I was doing an infield drill, and I fielded a grounder, and came up with a hard throw that sailed over the fence, and bounced halfway across the street. Hilarious.

Science fair next year.

I need to start writing down science fair ideas for next year. I always come up with cool ideas just after it. I currently have an idea of one, involving baseball stats. Hell, if im interested in it, I may as well. If i consider it further, and think its a good idea, i will look into it, and even if my teacher denies it, I can just do it for grade 11 or 12. Yeah. Interesting stuff.

Term ending

The term ends in just 6 days. Looking forwards to it, even though it means a lot of cramming. Like touques for olsons. I just finished the last couple today, so im finally done. My blog count was sad though. 29 blogs, including this one. So... Yeah. Not much happening. Baseball started. Its still boring, half of the teams havent even played yet. Gtg now. Byes now.

Baseball

Baseball starts tmrw. Yay! Well the first game is kind of lame, its the Phillies against some college, which is going to be a sad win for the Phillies, they are gonna win like 15-1, but its the start of the season. Yay! The first MLB vs MLB game is Friday, and the first Jays game is on Saturday. YAYAYAYAYAY! My boredom is over!

Canucks

The canucks lost today. Damn. At least we're still in first. Daniel Sedin is first in the league in Points, Henrick in Assists, Bieksa in +/-, and Kesler is in second in goals. GO CANUCKS GO! So yeah. We rock. Lu isnt doing that great though. Sid the Kid is still out. Not complaining, its ok.

House

I like House. Im watching right now. Its a sweet show. I want to be just like him when i grow up. Not really. This episode is interesting. A crazy guy took like 12 guys, including house, hostage, in Cuddy's office. Now im confused. Yeah.

Agents of Change

I have a big project due in socials tmrw. I dont want to do it. AArg. But I did it anyways. See the tricky tense change? Huh. Good stuff. At least now we are back to boring work that isnt complicated. We had an essay test in socials, then science fair, and then agents of change, then we are done. Foof. So yeah. Now i gtg. Byes.

Doctor Who

I just started watching Doctor Who again, its been a while. I'm just watching a Dalek episode. They scare me. Seriously. So yeah. Byes now.

Canucks! Yeah!

Im just watching the canucks game right now. Its awesome, we're winning 5-0 with 6 mins left in the 3rd. Yeah. Go us. We are leading the league by 2 points, and if we win, we will be leading by 4 points (over phillie.) Yeah. Plus henrik is leading the league with 51 assists (9 over 2nd).... And the game is over now, 6-0. Kesler also has 30 goals (a new career high), which is 3rd in the league, and only 2 goals behind crosby in 2nd. Yeah! go us! Also LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU has 3 shutouts.

All star game

The NHL all star game was on today, and it was crazy. The final score was 11-10. So yeah. 21 goals in total. The goalies just arnt good enough to keep up with such good players. Yeah. Lidstrom won, which kinda sucks, because I was cheering for Staal. At least he won the skills. Yeah. Byes now.

Reach Game

We have started keeping score for our reach games. It makes it more interesting, because you have something to reach for. Ha. That was totally accidental, the reaching thing. because its reach for the top? Never mind. So... yeah. So I got 16 points, the second most on the team, after Kyle, this grade ten guy, who got 18 points. Geoffrey got third with 12 points. The team total was around 68. thats what i have written down, but i think i missed some. Whatever, that should be fine. So yeah. We were playing crofton, and they got like 20 at most, so yeah. we won by quite a lot. Um after we had track... and yeah. thats it. K byes now.

Mt washington

I was just looking at the ski report on tv, and Mt Washington has 508 cm of base. Thats crazy! Um, I don't know what to talk about. Um I'm going to track in like an hour and 10 mins. The canucks have a game in like 5 mins. Yeah. Also, the top five players in the NHL in points, goals, and assists are either Canadian, or on the Canucks. Just saying.

Decathlon

My coach is trying to make me try decathlon. I dont really wanna. Its hard. Well at least some of the events are. There is 10. I only really dont want to do 2. Thats 110 hurdles, and 1500 meter run. Here is a list of the events:

Day 1

• 100 metres - Good at that
• Long jump - OK at that
• Shot put - OK at that
• High jump - Pretty good at that
• 400 metres - OK at that

Day 2

• 110 metres hurdles - Scary
• Discus throw - Pretty OK at that
• Pole vault - Sounds fun, never tried that
• Javelin throw - Don't wanna sound cocky, but I'm amazing at that.
• 1500 metres - Um, not great at long distance, but if I can find someone to pace with, I should do good.

Santa Barbara

I just got another update from my track club about my trip to santa barbara. We got our itinerary today, or at least the flights and locations, so yeah. Thats good. We are practicing at the same school Katy Perry graduated from, which is cool, plus we get to do tons of fun activities, besides training, like probably going to the beach quite often, going hiking, going go-carting, and lots of other things. yeah. It should be a lot of fun. And the end of the trip is the easter relays, which are on the second last day of the trip, and are basically just like a little track meet. Yeah, it should be fun. I have also been looking at track spikes, which I need to get soon, so I can get used to them before the season. Yeah. So. Got to go now. Byes now.

Lotus

I was just looking at the lotus website. They have some really cool cars. Including a new one thats coming out in 2013, the Esprit, which looks like a really cool Lamborghini. Yeah. I also have been looking at the Tesla Motors website. They make the Tesla Roadster, which is a fully electric sports car. A really cool one. Quick acceleration. All electric cars have quick acceleration because they dont have gears. Yeah. Though, I think the car I want most is the Lamborghini Reventon. Its a special model Murcelago, only 20 made. It looks awesome!

I dunno again

I still have no idea about what to write. Um. Yeah. I dont know. I am just watching family guy. Then im going to track. Yeah. I had a reach for the top game today against saints. We lost 61-53, so thats not that great. Yeah.

Yeah. Thats my title. I cant think of anything. Um... I have been playing Need for Speed on my ipod? Thats pretty much the only recent news. I won the geography challenge for synergy 9. The schoolwide one is next friday. yeah. I dunno. Thats all of my recent news. Yeah. Byes now.

Keeper League

I am currently planning on entering a keeper league for fantasy baseball. They are pretty hard. They can last a long long time. Apperently some are like 8-9 years old. How it works, is its normal for the season, but the difference is that at the end of the season you get to choose a certain amount of players to keep the next year. All the rest are put back in the free agents for the draft. It involves a lot more strategy, because you have to choose younger players, so that you can keep them. Yeah. Byes now.

MLB

Im still into the baseball thing, because im starting to do research for my fantasy baseball teams (which start in about a month). Im subscribing to lots of analysis stuff, So... Yeah. I have lots of sci homework. Which sucks. Day 1 tommorow. Yay. Fav day.

Today

Today wasent that exciting of a day. Seriously. I went back to school, went to science, took lots of notes, went to PE, did some gymnastics, then had lunch (bought a bulldog classic ticket), went to olsons and watched a video about cold. Specifically absolute zero. Then I went to Yearbook and got blamed for the rest of the class not doing stuff. Fun times. Then I went to track practice, which was nice, because i got to see lots of people i havent seen in a while. Yeah. That was my day. Byes now.

Break Post 1/2

I just remembered that I had to blog over the break. I will make two blogs, one today, and one tmrw with what I did. The first 4 days of the break I was in a Freeride camp at grouse mountain, but, unfortunately, I didnt learn a ton. I can do boxes and I am working on my 180s off jumps. I also saw some people from Synergy up there, Rebecca was in another lesson, and I saw sharon walking around near the chalet. Moving on, I went to lots christmas dinners, but only like one of them had classic christmas food. To christmas we go now, and what I got. I didnt get a ton of physical presents, but a really good present I got from my parents was a trip to Santa Barbara with my track and field club, over spring break. Another good thing I got, just recently was $100 from a family friend. That was a really good present. I didn't expect that much. Yeah. Byes now.
